1. Information Handled by AltMAP

AltMAP is designed as a network and vulnerability security scanning utility. AltMAP itself does not collect, store, or sell:

• Personal user information (such as your name, email address, or phone number)
• Data from scanned targets or network hosts
• Location data

2. Third-Party Services and Device Identifiers

To support app functionality, push notifications, and advertising, AltMAP incorporates trusted third-party SDKs provided by Google. These third-party services may collect and process certain data, including:

• Device or other IDs: Device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID / AAID, App Set ID, and Firebase Instance ID) used by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google Firebase for advertising, analytics, app performance monitoring, and message delivery.

Data collected by third-party SDKs is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

3. Local and Remote Scanning

Our app performs:

• Local network scans using standard network protocols
• Remote network scans via user-specified IP addresses or domain names

All scanning operations are initiated manually by the user, and scan results are processed and saved locally on your device.

4. App Permissions Used

The app requests the following Android permissions:

• Internet Access: Required to perform network scans and communicate with target hosts.
• Foreground Service: Required to visibly run scanning tasks in the background without being killed by the OS.

These permissions are strictly used for network scanning functionality and not for unauthorized data collection.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent user data to third parties. Data collected by third-party Google SDKs (AdMob and Firebase) is handled directly by Google as described in Section 2.
